Ilse Kryspin-Exner Ph.D., is a professor emerita for Clinical & Health Psychology (active in this position 1998-2013) at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Vienna. She is a charted Psychotherapist (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and was a member of the Advisory Board of AAL-Europe from 2009 to 2016 covering social, behavioural and ethical aspects. In this agenda she is also leading the working group “ethics” within AAL-Austria. Furthermore she is acting as a chairwoman of ÖPIA (Austrian Interdisciplinary Platform an Ageing). She has a substantial publication list on various topics concentrating on the neuropsychological aspects of mental disorders. During the last years her main emphasis of research and publication was accessibility, acceptance, application and use of new technologies especially in elderly.
