SAAM Kick-off Meeting in Sofia
The newly funded H2020 project SAAM – Supporting Active Ageing through Multimodal Coaching launches in Sofia, Bulgaria this autumn!
The expected result of the 3-year innovative project is the creation of a virtual assistant supporting active ageing. The project is financed with almost 4 million euro by the EU Framework programme for research and innovation Horizon 2020. The end goal is to extend as much as possible the active and independent life of people over 60 years of age, living in their own homes as well as to support the work of those taking care of them (family, friends, and social carers).
The project co-ordinator is the Balkan Institute for Labour and Social Policy, based in Sofia that since 2001 manages and implements multiple social projects under programmes, funded by the EU and other international donors.
